Add-in Express .NET is the first visual tool for programming Microsoft® Office extensions, including COM Add-ins, Smart Tags, RTD Servers and Excel user defined functions. It completely supports Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET (2003, 2005) and Borland® Delphi® for .NET (2005 and 2006) and makes them very comfortable for developing extensions for all available Microsoft Office versions from 2000 to the newest 2007.

  • The newest Microsoft Office 2007 is completely supported by the Add-in Express programming model and core. Now with Add-in Express you can customize Microsoft Office 2007 and support all its new features including the Ribbon UI, Quick Access Toolbar, Office Menu, and Task Panes. For all this Add-in Express provides several new components that replace manually prepared Ribbon-related XML with special visual designers
  • Add-in Express 2007 allows you to develop one extension for all available Office versions (2000, 2002, 2003, 2007) and Office suites (Student, Home, Standard, Professional, Professional Plus, Ultimate, Enterprise), you needn't create different projects for different Office versions since Add-in Express supplies you with a version-neutral core and Office primary interop assemblies (PIAs)

Main Features
Add-in Express project templates, components and their visual designers allow you to create version-neutral, secure, isolated, deployable and automatically updatable Office extensions including COM Add-ins, Smart Tags, Excel RTD Servers and Excel Worksheet Functions (UDF).
You can use Add-in Express components and their visual designers to:

  • Add and customize you own toolbars, menus and pop-ups for all MS Office 2000 – 2003 applications
  • Customize any existing (built-in) toolbars, menus and pop-ups with your controls, items and sub-menus on MS Office 2000 - 2003
