  • Highly customizable - The flexible API and XML properties file gives incredible freedom in customizing every aspect of the appearance and behavior of r.a.d.chart - from backgrounds and margins, to series and legends attributes, to titles and axes
  • Cross-browser compatible - r.a.d.chart is compatible with all major browsers capable of displaying .PNG files. Since the chart is rendered as an image, cross-browser compatibility is not an issue
  • Swift performance - r.a.d.chart is noticeably fast component, since all images are prepared in the memory and are therefore cached. As a result, there are no slow and flashing redraws
  • Transparent and custom colors - r.a.d.chart does not limit the available colors to a predefined palette, but rather allows you to define custom colors and transparencies. Transparencies can be added to many objects for achieving attractive visual effects. For instance, when objects are transparent, if a background image is used it will show through
  • Different chart types on a single chart - With r.a.d.chart it is possible to specify a different chart type for each data serie. For example, you can combine an Area and a Line chart, or a Bar and a Line chart, as seen from the example on the left
  • Different colors for series and for items in a series - Allow you to achieve even better visual representation of data. Available for all chart types, including Bars, Area, and Lines - not only for the one-serie Pie chart, in which the Pieces are in different colors by default. The example below presents a Bar chart in which each item in the series has a different color
  • Unlimited number of series and data points in series - There is no limitation as to the number of series and data points in series displayed by r.a.d.chart. Feel free to add as many points and series as you need
  • Automatic scaling of axes - Axes can automatically expand (or shrink) to accommodate dynamically added (or removed) axis marks, data points, etc.
  • User-defined ranges for both axes - With r.a.d.chart it is possible to define the origin, end, and step for axes, range, or item per item, using the XML configuration file or programmatically
  • Title and Legend positioning - Chart Title and Legend can be docked inside or outside the Chart Area, specifying alignment and distances from the margins
  • Negative values - r.a.d.chart is not limited only to positive values or zero only. For all types of charts, excluding Pie charts, negative values are also allowed
  • State Management - State management allows you to persist the data and/or properties on the client, instead of retrieving it from a database or remotely. This feature significantly accelerates the process of chart rendering
  • Custom numeric formats for values - Allows for custom formatting of item values - i.e. currency, decimal digits, scientific notation, thousands separator, special formatting, etc.
  • Specific chart features - There are a number of specific features, available only for particular chart types - for instance overlapping bars in Bar charts, bars in different colors, different area color for each series, exploding Pie Pieces, small Pie Pieces, etc.
