The AIC provides for two methods of applying ground control point coordinates used in the image transformation process. The coordinates can be i) entered via the keyboard from geographic survey data, GPS readings, or topographical maps or ii) lifted directly from a reference file opened in the AIC reference file window by pointing and clicking with the mouse. The AIC accepts all types of reference files, including older orthophoto aerial images, scanned and georeferenced topographical maps, or CAD/GIS vector map files.

　　The integrated product documentation and help file system are easy to follow. The product tutorials include abundant illustrations. Despite the powerful features, the AIC product is designed for use even by novices.

　　The AIC may be used to generate SQL-based PixelStore format images for use with the TatukGIS Developer Kernel toolkit (and custom applications created from it), GIS Internet Server, GIS Editor, and free GIS Viewer products. Georeferenced output images and the associated image registration information can be exported to industry standard file types compatible with other GIS and CAD software products.
