Add a WYSIWYG HTML editor to your browser based solutions or applications. pinEdit is a WYSIWYG HTML editor that runs in your browser without ActiveX, Applet or Plug-Ins or in your application as ActiveX or .Net WinForm. pinEdit offers a lot of interfaces to different technologies. There are rich formatting capabilities like fonts, colors, justifiying etc. Files can be loaded and saved from/to a server by dialogs. Text modules can be created by users and saved on sever.

Features
- pinSpell Multilanguage Spell Checker for English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch. pinSpell is available as Add-On for pinEdit for Java and ASP.Net.
- Menu A menu has been added to have more flexibility. The menu is completely configurable.
- Style Combo The style combo is a new toolbar object that allows displaying html content per item. This style combo is used for visualizing CSS styles, formatting, fonts and font size.
- More flexibility Toolbar, Menu and Context menus are now fully customizable.
- Syntax coloring In HTML mode the display supports now syntax coloring
- Tab key within table Tab key is supported within tables to jump from one cell to the other. If you are on the last cell/row and press a new row is inserted. Press SHIFT-TAB to jump to the previous cell.
- RETURN mode Let the user set the RETURN mode by using a toolbar button. The button image shows the current state whether a is inserted after pressing key.
- Extended link functions The link dialog has been extended. The URL can now be selected with open dialog, the target and the title can be set.
- Assign Styles to all objects Activate an object like button, input, select, label etc and select a style from the style combo.
- Image upload and insert There is a new possibility to select a local image, upload it to a specified server location and insert it automatically.
- Toolbar Update If you press the mouse key or move the cursor within the editor the state of the toolbar buttons and combos are updated.
- Relative Path There is a new mode when saving editor content.
- More Languages New languages are supported for toolbar and dialogs:
- Spanish
- Portugese
- Dutch - Greek
- Hebrew
- Auto Language An auto detection feature has been implemented that detects the current browser language.
- Table Highlight If the table border is set to 0 the table is not visible anymore. Press the table highlight button and the editor draws a border around the table.
- Save As Dialog The save as dialog has been overworked so that the content can be saved to a selectable server location.
- Document and Image Upload There is a new menu button that allows image and document upload to different server locations.
- Preview Function A new preview function that opens a new browser window has been added.
- Insert Paragraph A new button that inserts a paragraph has been added Table Size The table size button allows now creating of larger tables.
- End user help A short function overview has been added to help button.
- WinForm/ActiveX Page Setup and new properties and functions have been added.
- Additional API functions Several Javascript functions have been added.
