FreeSMTP.Net is an extremely efficient .Net assembly for the creation and sending of e-mail messages. Written in pure C#, FreeSMTP.Net is fully managed and incredibly fast. It is totally object oriented and flat out the easiest way to create and send Internet e-mail. Best of all, it's free.

Easy and Reliable
- Add the e-mail support you need without paying the price of a long learning curve. FreeSMTP.Net's fully object oriented design makes the software extremely easy to use. The classes are teeming with overloaded methods and constructors. All errors are handled via exceptions. FreeSMTP.Net enables you to create and send Internet e-mail with as little as one line of code. Complete documentation, including samples, is provided and integrated with the VisualStudio.Net dynamic help system, providing quick reference when you need it.
- FreeSMTP.Net was written in 100% C# to produce the fastest fully managed code available. There are no external dependencies other than the .Net Framework.

- Up to two body parts are supported, enabling support for messages composed in plain text, HTML and HTML with alternative body text. Message body parts can be optionally encoded with Quoted-Printable.
- FreeSMTP.Net fully supports all character sets. In addition, message headers which contain characters outside the allowable range are automatically Base64 encoded for compatibility.
- File attachments are automatically Base64 encoded.
- Messages with more than one part are automatically MIME encoded.
- FreeSMTP.Net is distributable for personal non-profit use. Quiksoft produces a commercial version of FreeSMTP.Net that may be distributed with commercial applications. See the FAQ for more information.
- FreeSMTP.Net is fully integrated with the Visual Studio .Net help system including the table of contents, index, search, dynamic help and Intellisense. Documentation is provided in HTML Help 1.1 and Help 2.0 formats for use with or without Visual Studio .Net.
- Message queuing offloads the delivery task from your application and greatly increases outbound throughput. Requires separate purchase of EasyMail SMTPExpress.
- Status event enables your application to display the progress of outgoing messages.
- Add an unlimited number of custom message headers.
- Set message priority to standard or custom levels.
- Optional file logging captures SMTP conversation for debugging purposes.
