DbGIS dev includes all the features of DbCAD dev.

DbGIS dev allows you to:

• Develop desktop and client/server applications;
• Support on-the-fly coordinate projections;
• Use advanced commands for topology analysis;
• Use HTTP protocol to remotely view data coming from ORACLE® Spatial, ESRI® SDE, ErMapper® ECW and LizardTech MrSID®
• Use raster coverages with images mosaiced from larger files;
• Display, import, query and edit native ESRI ® shapefiles.

With DbGIS, like in DbCAD dev, you can take advantage of Low-level methods that allow you to develop simple and expandable applications, and also High-level methods that allow you to develop sophisticated applications.

MAIN FUNCTIONALITIES

• vector files: ESRI® Shape files SHP, AutoCAD® DWG/DXF, Microstation® DGN, etc.
• raster files: GeoTIFF, TIFF, MrSID®, ErMapper® ECW, JPG, BMP, etc.
• supports: Points, polylines, polygons, arcs, topologies, 2D drawings, layers, pan, zoom, overview, database link, print and print preview, hatches, text styles (TTF), blocks and attributes, line-types, snap, ortho, grid, etc.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

• SDO driver: Display, import, query and edit the geo-spatial data of ORACLE® 9i (or later) Spatial/Locator.
• SDE driver: Display, import, query and edit the geo-spatial data of ESRI® Spatial Database Engine.
