The displayed content can be fully customized using an XML project (static file or dynamically produced on the server).
JAVA Applets:

• Display raster images;
• Draw objects based on selections from ORACLE® Spatial/Locator table;
• Edit or create objects, and save them in ORACLE® Spatial/Locator tables;
• Perform overview, pan and zoom, layers on/off, change display parameters, themes, etc.

JAVA Servlets:

• Send the Applets a list of the vectors displayed when a selection from an Oracle Spatial/Locator table is performed (ORACLE connection from server side only);
• Send compressed, mosaiced rasters imagery to Applets;
• Provide clients with portions of AutoCAD (DWG) drawings and GeoTIFF file as requested.

JAVA developers can also:

• Develop new Applets fully integrated in DbMAP ASJ;
• Modify satellite Applets supplied with DbMAP ASJ - source code is included.
